We're loving our new corporate HQ! We just moved in last week and can't thank the builders and designers enough. The new building provides open, creative spaces for collaboration and innovation while we continue developing next generation IEC 61850 Digital substation products.

We are pleased to announce that Tekron is a finalist in the 2016 Wellington Region Business Excellence Awards in the “Technology & Innovation” category.

The cooking skills of the Tekron time lords were recently put to the test with a staff outing to the *Social Cooking* site. The challenge of the night was to craft the best possible pasta dish. After a lesson by Head Chef, the TEK team members along with their partners/spouses broke up into 8 groups of 3 members each to create their culinary masterpieces. The only limitation was the inclusion of pasta in some form while an assortment of vegetables, meats, herbs and spices were on offer for the sauce and the fillings. Given an hour to prepare their meal, each team provided a small taster for the three judges; the Head Chef and her assistant and Amanda Santos, Tekron’s CEO.
