Posted on 01/11/2010

Tekron International, a leading developer of precision timing products, today released the TCG 01-E, the latest of Tekron’s clocks to include IEEE 1588 v2 (PTP) functionality. The addition of PTP is just one of a number of enhancements for Tekron’s flagship clock. Another is the introduction of remote configuration via Ethernet. As long as the clock is connected to a network, it can now be configured from any location - no matter where you are.

I am confident that Tekron is the leader in the ongoing development of GPS timing for the power industry. Our development team is hard at work on a wide range of new and innovative products that exceed the requirements of our current and future customers. We are going through exciting times.

Brian Smellie, Tekron’s Technical Director
